Fluffy Stuff
There's finally some white fluffy stuff outside. I was so excited to have a white Christmas and was disappointed when there wasn't very much snow when I came to Utah. And now, out of nowhere I look outside and it's snowing! Hard! It's so beautiful. Yay for fluffy stuff.

Big Joe
Cougar Town is one of my favorite TV shows. Absolutely love it. Love it. On this show the main characters are a bunch of friends who hang out all the time at one the character's houses. This often involves drinking wine. One of the characters, Jules, has a huge wine glass named "Big Joe". My friend Christa gave me "Big Joe" for Christmas tonight. I gotta say, Big Joe looks good with a bunch of milk in it! Thank you Christa. And thank you Big Joe.

Give it back!!!!
I want my mall back. I live about five minutes away from a large mall. And I love it. So much. I may or may not having a shopping problem....leaning more towards the may category. Anyway, with all the Christmas bustle the mall is a nightmare! I can't wait for Christmas to pass so all the people who are not regulars will stop cramming every thing up. I want my mall back. I miss it.
P.S. Please don't misunderstand...I LOVE Christmas and the season. I just miss my good friend the mall.

It's Cold
It's cold here in North Carolina. It's not supposed to be cold here. When I'm standing at the bus stop at 6:30 in the morning with a cold wind blowing I get cranky. If it's going to be in the 20's, the least mother nature could do is give us a little snow to make it pretty. I'm just sayin'.

What the hil!
I've had a crazy week. Due to an unfortunate power incident, I had to sleep over at a friend's house. At about 1:30 in the morning we were lying there trying to go to sleep and my friend blurts out, "You should have a weekly 'What the Hil!' post on your blog!" I laughed. But I loved it. So here's my first "What the Hil!" post:
Rewind back to Sunday. I'm coming out of the Relief Society room at church and am approached by a guy in the ward who is over the music stuff in the ward. So here's the conversation:
Music guy: Hey, has anyone asked you about singing something in the christmas program?
Me: No.
Music guy: Okay, I didn't know if anyone had asked you to do something with them. Well, would you be willing to do something?
Me: I guess. (Thinking it would be with a group of people, and I would have a choice of whether I wanted to participate or not.)
Music guy: Well, let me look into things and I'll get back to you.
Me: Alright.
Conversation done.
Now fast forward to last night. I'm at the ward Christmas party and one of the guys involved in my the christmas program says,
"So, I hear you're going to be singing with so and so. It's on the program!"
Me: Wait, what?!?!
Other guy: Ya, he said you two are singing together, we have it on the program.
Me storming over to the music guy:
Hey, so what is this I hear that I'm singing with you?!?!
Music guy: Oh...yeah...I keep forgetting to tell you. I put us down to sing a duet together.
Me: Oh really? What's the song?
Music guy: Um, Away in the Manger.
Me: Well, I'm not committing to anything yet. I haven't even seen the music.
Music guy: Okay...I'll send you the music, and the programs haven't been printed yet.
Me: Okay. Send me the music. We'll talk about it on Sunday.
End of conversation.
WHAT the HIL!!!! Really?!!? Who signs someone up for a musical number without talking to them!?!? Really!!?!?! So now, I am signed up for this musical number and I am going to feel like a jerk if I don't do it. What if the arrangement sucks? What if our voices don't sound good together? Ugh.
