I'm a glutton for punishment!

As if working my tail off for the last five years to make it through college wasn't enough, I signed up for graduate school a few weeks ago. I am going to pursue my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pheonix. I know this is what I want to do, but making this seven year commitment kind of scares the living daylights out of me! Yikes! I keep having to tell myself to take it one class at a time. I can do this! I'll keep you posted on how it goes!

My Next Adventure

I have quite the busy but exciting week coming up. In three days I am driving to Nebraska to go the Winter Quarters Temple to take out my endowments. I am so excited that I can barely stand it! Whenever I think about it, I just want to jump up and down and squeal like a little twelve year old girl! I am grateful for this blessing and look forward to going back to the temple again and again.

I'm finally graduating!

So, finally after five long years I am graduating with my bachelor's degree in Family and Human Development from USU. On May 5th I will walk across the stage and accept my...uh...temporary?...diploma. My real one will be mailed to me later in the summer. I have loved getting an education and will hold my college experiences dear to my heart. I highly recommend making the most of being young and free! I think I learned just as much, if not more, from living the college life as I did from going to classes.

Hey all! I've never created a blog before, and I guess telling a little about myself would be a good place to start. Let's see... I grew up in Hyde Park, UT. After high school I went to Snow College for two years. Snow College was one of the best things that I could have ever done for myself. After I graduated from Snow, I transferred up to Utah State University. I have been here for the last three years. I'm finally graduating with my bachelors! I have been working for the last two and a half years at Bear River Mental Health and absolutely love it! I look forward to whatever else life has in store for me.
