After the movie we drove about a half hour to Mike's house where we stayed for the rest of the weekend. On Friday we slept it (amazing!). Our friend Marti joined us and we played in the pool all day. In the evening we went on a tour of the great town of Danville, VA. It's a great little place! We had dinner at a place called Ham's where they have trivia games going on TV's throughout the restaurant. They give you a controller and you play against everyone else in the restaurant. It was so fun...turns out I'm not very good at trivia. We watched some fireworks after dinner and ice cream.
Saturday morning, Ev and I went to the Farmer's Market with Mike's mom. We took it easy all day. We had a barbecue, played games, and then watched a movie. Saturday evening we went to Piggly Wiggly so I could get a new Piggly Wiggly T-Shirt (I spilled bleach on my last one). After the Piggly Wiggly we went to downtown Danville and listened to the symphony play until the fireworks started. We watched the fireworks and then went home and took it easy for the rest of the night. Here's some pictures from the symphony/fireworks:
